Agricultural Loan Officer

The State Bank of Chandler located in Chandler, MN is seeking to hire an Agricultural Loan Officer.

We are reaching out to you specifically if you have the background we are looking for and would like to work for a community bank that emphasizes building and maintaining customer relationships.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Responsible for various duties, including wire transfers, funds balancing, ACH transactions, assist customers with transactions and many miscellaneous duties in the operations department, including in house operations and processing. Responsible for the timely and accurate operations of the main frame computer and daily processes of the bank. Run Core programs and applications, which may include: Electronic banking, general ledger, exception items, deposit and loan applications and accounts payable system.

The qualifying individual will have some or all of the following:

• Experience in business development.
• Personal experience in an agricultural field.
• Credit analysis and underwriting experience.
• Mindful of other banking products while networking.
• Knowledge of consumer, mortgage, and commercial products.
• Ability to wear many hats.
• 5+ years of community banking experience.
• 2- or 4-year degree in Ag Business or Finance.
• Understanding of credit and finance.

The main tasks of the position are to find, solicit, grow, manage, and increase agricultural lending relationships in the market. This is a relationship business, there will be a need to handle many different tasks.
